1. The service

AnimeSwiper provides a web application for discovering anime through swipes, recommendations, and related features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paying subscribers where practical.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from your account page, which removes your stored preferences and interactions as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. AnimeSwiper Plus (subscriptions)

Optional paid plans (“AnimeSwiper Plus”) are billed by Stripe. Pricing is shown at checkout and may be listed in multiple currencies. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel through the Stripe customer portal (linked from your account page) or we terminate access for cause.

Refunds. Unless required by law, charges are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us at hello@animeswiper.com within 14 days and we will review in good faith.
Feature entitlements. Plus benefits (such as a larger recommendation batch per fetch and a deeper skip-undo stack) are described in-app and may evolve. They are tied to an active subscription status we receive from Stripe.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to access data you do not own or bypass security controls.
Use the service to harass others, distribute malware, or scrape at a rate that harms infrastructure.
Misrepresent your identity or manipulate ratings or recommendations in bad faith.

5. Content and third-party data

Anime metadata is sourced from third parties (e.g. AniList). We do not claim ownership of that catalog data. Recommendations are automated and may be imperfect — you are responsible for verifying age ratings, availability, and suitability before watching.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnimeSwiper and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, unless mandatory consumer rights in your country say otherwise.
